One of the most urgent challenges of these unprecedented times is unemployment, which is surpassing record highs. Today we are proud to launch People + Work Connect, an analytics-driven, business-to-business platform, developed by Accenture, that is designed to help get the world get back to work and lessen the economic and societal impacts of COVID-19. At zero cost, the platform matches companies on both sides of the job equation – those that are laying off or furloughing people with those that are looking for people. Thanks to Accenture’s Chief Leadership & Human Resources Officer Ellyn Shook and the CHROs of Lincoln Financial Group, ServiceNow and Verizon for spearheading, as well as Accenture’s Paul Daugherty, Eva Sage-Gavin, Jeffrey Hasan and Rajeev Kaul and our entire Accenture Technology and cross-functional teams who developed and launched People + Work Connect in just 14 business days. I cannot imagine a more significant, tangible demonstration of our commitment to shared success. https://lnkd.in/eWU8yqG
Good initiative. Great effort by Accenture leadership team. Considering most of the big and middle level companies busy in demonstrating their innovative effort in supporting employees in this pandemic situation , do they officially commit their layoff to spoil the report. If not then this scenario challenges the overall output of this initiative.
Great job
